One good thing to come out of 2020- GALENTINES DAY. My roommates and I hosted our first Galentines day party and it is still one of the highlights of my year and best times with friends!! We had all our closest friends come for a party of 12, which was the perfect amount. Galantines is truly the best way to have all your friends together and celebrate lady love. There is nothing more powerful and memorable.
We obviously brought out all the Valentine’s decor we had and invested some time at the dollar store for some last-minute bling. Every good party needs a shiny backdrop so I set that up along the most blank-ish looking wall in our house and got creative with balloons, garland, and signs! I even brought out my own LED letter board. Attending a Galantines day party is cool, but hosting your own is SO MUCH FUN.
Since I’m a gal who loves any excuse to make funky drinks, I went full out and served my own champagne drink! It was easy and the hit of the party. I mean if you’re going to host a party, you have to think of everything that will make the party amazing. I filled basically every champagne glass we owned with champagne (used about two bottles for each guest to have one glass), found cute hearts to go in the glasses at the dollar store, and added a whole thing of cotton candy on top! Omg was it adorable-hens every picture with our champagne. It’s always important to me that my friends are having a good time so that’s what I plan for if imma have a party!
