In celebration of all the big sports events taking place this month, we recently launched aninitiative to promote healthy habits. As part of this initiative, our colleagues Anke Schlatmann and Jean Nyakayiru discussed the role of nutrition in the diets of athletes and recreational sports enthusiasts. 🌿 Regenerative Agriculture Pilot: exploring benefits for farmer, climate and natureIn a new pilot, FrieslandCampina is working with 20 member dairy farmers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to explore, develop and implement regenerative agriculture practices.We believe regenerative agriculture is one of the promising routes towards sustainable dairy farming. It combines ancient knowledge with modern tools, to achieve a natural balance between cows and soil, enhancing soil health, animal welfare, and self-sufficiency through closed cycles.This transition requires farmers to make decisions and has a major long-term impact on their business.
