Mario Party Superstars Unlockables, Achievements, and Stickers (2024)

OurMario Party Superstars unlockables guide details every secret feature and hidden unlockable along with how to unlock each one.

Like any Mario Party game over the last two decades, Superstars comes packed with its own set of unlockables and hidden features. Although there is nothing in the way of secret characters and boards, there is still plenty to find in the in-game coin shop, the Mario Party level system, and the achievements feature. If anything is discovered, we’ll update this page accordingly.

Unlockable Characters and Boards?

Unfortunately, there are no secret characters or unlockable boards in Mario Party Superstars. Instead we have a solid cast of 10 playable characters and 5 remastered boards from the original trio of Nintendo 64 games. The roster includes Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, and Birdo. The returning boards include Yoshi’s Tropical Island, Space Land, Peach’s Birthday Cake, Woody Woods, and Horror Land.

No word from Nintendo on the possibility of DLC for Mario Party Superstars. If anything is announced, we’ll update this page!

Mario Party Level Unlockables

Playing boards and winning minigames will add points to your ever-growing Mario Party Level. This returning mechanic unlocks items in Toad’s Shop when reaching certain levels. Do take note, you still have to have enough coins to purchase them!

List of Stickers

Stickers are a neat new feature that let you taunt opponents during board gameplay. Choose any of the 67 stickers to throw up on screen as an online player takes too long during their turn or a friend tries to get testy by stealing one of your stars. Each sticker features art and a word or phrase, along with a matching sound effect.

Collect coins from minigames and boards to grow your Mario Party Level. Reach certain milestones to unlock new stickers in the shop.

How to Unlock Classic Music

Even though Mario Party Superstars beautifully orchestrated the board themes, the game still provides on option for players to play boards while listening to that board’s original music. Simply play a board once to unlock an option in the Options House where you can toggle a board’s music from “Modern” to “Classic.” Sadly this is only a feature for the boards as minigames do have a feature like this.

The credits will unlock once you reach Lv. 50. Watch through the entirety of the credits at least once to unlock three classic credit themes from the original trio of games. Each track can be purchased in the shop for 999 coins.

You can also unlock the Mario Party Superstars soundtrack by purchasing music packs from the shop. Once bought, you can listen to them by selecting the gramophone in the Data House. Here’s the list for the unlockable shop items:

List of Achievements

Visiting the Data House and selecting Kamek’s crystal ball will prop you in front of the bright night sky, a spot where you check out the list of achievements in Mario Party Superstars. Achievements are challenges tasking you to take specific action while playing boards and minigames. Each star in a constellation represents a different achievement and will light up once completed.

Completing an achievement will unlock new titles that you can use on your Mario Party Card. It’s currently unclear what happens when you complete a specific constellation or when you complete all the achievements in the game.
