BOUCHARD SOUTH BURLINGTON Evelyn M. Bouchard, 81, a longtime resident of the Burlington area, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 1998 in The Arbors in Shelburne. She was born in Newport on Jan. 16, 1917, the daughter of the late Bede and Alice (LaPetrie) Powers. Evelyn received her education in the Newport school system and was a graduate of Burlington College.

She was employed for many years at GMAC in Burlington. Evelyn was married on Sept. 16, 1940 to D. Robert Bouchard who predeceased her in 1989. Her interests included golf, as a member of the Burlington Country Club, bowlting, bridge, reading and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Bouchard and her husband Daniel McDonald of South Burlington, Marcia Blodgett and her fiance Peter Noyes of Bennington; one son, Steven Bouchard and his wife Peggy of Colchester; six grandchildren, Krishna Maples, Trisha Paradis, Julia Humphreys, Bradley Bouchard, Jeffrey Bouchard and Carly and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Filzen. Evelyn's children would like to extend special thanks to Nancy Reynolds of The Arbors and the Nursing 'and Support Staff for their gentle and loving care for Evelyn. JAMIE FOSTER "JOEY" GRAHAM NORTHFIELD FALLS Jamie Foster "Joey" Graham, 48, died at his home in Northfield Falls on June 24, 1998 after a brief illness. He was born in Burlington on Jan. 11, 1950, the son of Col. (Ret.) Foster J. and Rep.

(Ret.) Lorraine (Hunt) Graham. Jamie graduated from Bur- lington High School and attended several colleges, most recently Norwich University and Castleton State College in the Nursing Program. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Persian Gulf. Jamie is survived by his loving companion, Sheila Ruel of Northfield Falls; his parents, Foster J.

Allen, 66, died Tuesday evening, June 23, 1998 at home, with his family by his side. He was born in the Sterling Valley section of Stowe on Oct. 23, 1931, the son of the late Lanson and Helen (Johnson) Allen, Sr. Lauran was the husband of the former Carole Bailey, whom he married May 10, 1957. Serving in the Army, Lauran was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and became a member of V.F.W.

Post 9653, Morrisville. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, working for various excavating contractors. Lauran was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many. Besides his wife, Carole, Lauran is survived by five children, Lonnie and his wife, Maureen, and Laurel Houle and her husband, Robert, both of Morrisville, Ethan and his wife, Jennifer, of Wolcott, Eric and his wife, Sara, of Morrisville, and Holly Johnson and her husband, Darryl, of Hardwick; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven sisters and brothers, Alice Bettis, Andrew Allen, Albert Allen, Lanson, Allen Nellie Godin, Marion Parker, and Eleanor was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Robert. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.

She was born on June 27, 1942 in Burlington, the daughter of Winfred and Gladys (Brooks) LaLime. Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Leo Paul Garrow, on May 2, 1972 and her son, Randy Allen Garrow, in October, 1962. She is survived by three daughters, Laurie and her husband Joseph Brace of Panton, Wendy and her husband Glenn Williams of East Middlebury; Joye Beth Garrow of Bristol; a son Paul Garrow and his wife Barbara of New Haven; a grandson, Randy Garrow; step-daughter Cindy and her husband Norbert Miller of North Carolina; three step-grandchildren, Christian and her husband Jason Nordman of North Carolina, and Michael and Jason Miller; stepgreat-granddaughter Elizabeth Nordman; two sisters, Jacqueline Clark of Richmond and Jean Clark of East Middlebury; lifetime friend Betty Godfrey of Fairlee; and several nieces and nephews. FRANCES (MABLE) GRIFFIN ESSEX JUNCTION Frances I Ruth (Mable) Griffin, 78, a longtime resident of Essex Junction, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998 in Burlington. Born in St. Albans on Sept. 3, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Arlie (Griffin) Mable.

Frances attended elementary school in Fletcher, then graduated from Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax and Johnson Normal School. For many years she was employed as a secretary. with the Vermont Department of Social Services in Burlington. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Bernard H. Griffin in 1962; her son, Jack Davis Griffin of San Francisco, in 1994 and his twin brother at birth in 1944.

She leaves two daughters, Molly Ruth Townsend and her husband Paul of Colchester, and June Ellen Juneau and her husband Bernard of Cadyville, N.Y.; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 1998 at 3 p.m. at the Binghamville Cemetery in Fletcher, by the Rev. Elizabeth Griffin. ROGER S. RAYMOND NEWPORT Roger Raymond, 70, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, in North Country Hospital after a short illness. He was born on Oct. 3, 1927, in Burlington, the son of the late Irving A. and Evelyn (Perrotte) Raymond.

He worked for many years at Vermont Furniture Company in Winooski, and later at Ethan Allen Furniture in Newport, until his retirement. Donald Raymond Robinson, 51, of 17635 North 33rd Lane, Phoenix, died Thursday, May 21, in the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Phoenix, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Mr. Robinson was born in Haverhill, on Dec. 21, 1946, the son of Ruth P. (Sawyer) Robinson of Bradford, and the late Donald R. Robinson, Sr.

He attended Haverhill schools and was a graduate of the Essex Agricultural and Technical High School, Hawthorne, Mass. He was employed as the Project Manager for the Thomas Heating and Air Conditioning Company, Phoenix, since 1990. He had been a resident of Phoenix since 1990 and previously resided in Scituate, for 20 years. He had been previously associated for 14 years with the Heating, Plumbing and Air Conditioning Company of Scituate, the Schultz, Doyle and Stoddard Heating Company, Scituate, and the Goodrich Engineering Company, Scituate, Mass. He was the former owner of the A.M.

Robinson Company, Scituate. Mass. He was a devoted speaker for the AA and served as the District Committee Member Chairman of Dist. No. 0803, AA, Phoenix.

He was an avid automobile enthusiast and owned several antique and classic autos. His surviving family members are his mother, Ruth P. (Sawyer) Robinson of Bradford, his wife, Doris L. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. CORA M. TWOMBLY MORRISVILLE Cora M. Twombly, 86, died with her family at her side on Wednesday, June 24, 1998 in Copley Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Hyde Park on Aug.

30, 1911, the daughter of Stephen J. and Eva Julia (Goozey) Wheeler. She was a descendant of Sergeant Thomas Wheeler, a settler of Concord, in 1642 and of the Goozey family of Quebec and Johnson, producers of fine, Franco-Americans since 1860. Cora was the wife of Warren G. "Bill" Twombly, whom she married March 25, 1930.

He predeceased her in February of 1970. Cora was a very loving, caring woman who always put her family first. She was a very devout, faithful woman and was a communicant member of Holy Cross Church in Morrisville and later, Blessed Sacrament Church in Stowe. Her family is very appreciative of the values she instilled within them as they matured into adults. While participating in "Out and Cora developed her talent and abilities in oil painting.

She is survived by her daughter with whom she lived the past ten years, Mary Douglass of Hyde Park and her husband Wayne; four sons, Charles and his wife Kathy of Berlin, Winston his wife Shirley of Granby, Wayne of Morrisville, and Robert and his wife Sandy of St. George; 12 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and one great greatgrandson, Christopher Wiltshire. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelley Douglass, in 1979. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Holy Cross Church, Morrisville with interment following in the Riverbank Cemetery, Stowe.
