My experience at Wake Forest is something I would never go back and change. As a student who studied Environment and Sustainability Studies and Spanish, I had a very positive academic experience. I was able to build personal relationships with most of my professors since my classes had about 20 students. I also enjoyed the social aspects of being a student at Wake Forest. There was always some type of event happening on campus whether it be athletic, extracurricular, philanthropic, or just fun. I was also a member of a sorority which heavily contributed to my social life. I met most of my close friends in my sorority which made for an even richer experience. The surrounding area of Winston-Salem is also growing, so there are many fun restaurants and cafes to try.

I absolutely adore Wake Forest University. I was first struck by the beautiful campus, but later fell in love with the community of the school. The companionship between students is so strong, due to the smaller number of undergraduate students, relative to other universities. Of course I adore every friend I have made at Wake Forest, but my favorite thing about the experience is how hard the staff, and my peers, have pushed me to be the best version of myself. I truly underestimated my intelligence and work ethic before arriving at WFU, and I have learned even more about myself as a human being rather than just in the classroom. I have learned what it means to be a well-rounded, upstanding citizen, as well as someone with clear goals and integrity.

Wake Forest University has a lot of preppy kids from the North East and another group from in and around N.C. These two groups combine to form the culture of the school. Academically speaking, there are three types of students: one group of kids that should've or could've gone to harder Ivy+ schools but either didn't get in or wanted to go to an easier school, another group who submitted test scores around 1450 and fit in as a target school, and another group of people who didn't submit scores or submitted scores on the lower range but are excellent students and grind out the material. If you are in the first group, you will find Wake to not be that difficult. The middle group will have a few a challenging weeks but overall everything's alright. The last group which makes up about 40 percent of the school experience Work Forest.
