Weight Watchers Parmesan Chicken is fantastic, plus it works out to only 2 Weight Watchers Points per serving!!! Parmesan Chicken has always been a favorite dinner of ours, and I love that I found a version that is WW-friendly!!

Now finding meals that are on plan for me but ones my kids will love is important! We have been making this Chicken Parmesan for four years; it is so easy to bake in the oven and pairs perfectly with a salad. I often prefer a homemade Olive Garden salad usingOlive Garden Salad Dressing and Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese for a low-point salad! However, sometimes I still enjoy my pasta with my Chicken Parmesan!

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?

When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.

New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.

I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, Blue Plan, Green Plan, Purple Plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022, similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. No matter the WW plan, it works to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit my lifetime goal weight several times but stopped following the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on.

How To Make WW Parmesan Chicken:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

Spray a baking dish with a nonstick spray and set to the side. I used a 9×13 Pyrex dish and had plenty of room for the chicken.

In a bowl, combine all your dry ingredients and stir together with a fork until well blended.

Crack the egg into a separate bowl for an egg wash to brush onto your chicken before dipping it into the breading.

Beat your egg with a fork.

Use a basting brush to brush the egg onto your chicken breasts.

Use a fork to dip your chicken into your breading until it is well coated.

**You could do this in a bag as well, but I did a bowl this time**

Place your breaded chicken breast into your baking dish.

Repeat until all chicken breasts are coated.

Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees or higher. Use a meat thermometer to verify the temperature.

Only the cheese and the bread crumbs have points in this recipe. Now you don’t use all the breading in this, but I err on the side of caution and would instead track too many points. If you have a lot left or bread your piece less than others, you could manually follow yours for a low point value.

How To Store Leftover ww chicken parmesan

You can store leftover casserole in an air-tight container for up to three days in the ridge. If freezing leftover casserole it can be kept in the freezer for up to 30 days.

Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The air-tight container and a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
