Hi Sue, The link should always take you to the recipe, you may have to scroll down the page to find them, but they should all be there. Which one in particular are you referring to?

Hi Denece, I just checked the link and it is working fine. Here’s the recipe though. To put in quart jar:
          3 c all-purpose flour
          1/2 c chopped dried apples
          3 tbsp sugar
          2 tbsp baking powder
          4 1/2 tsp cinnamon
          1 1/4 tsp salt

i see the ingredients, but not the recipes for them all. usually when you send a gift like this thjere is some confusion as to how to use it. generally youd tie on a tag with the recipe, including baking times, how-to, etc…

Hello! As the author of the post with the apple cinnamon pancakes, I can tell you that if you are able to open the link and you scroll down, I had scanned in the recipe tags to be tied onto the mason jars and linked them to the post. If you are unable to open the link, the recipes can be found in the Soup to Nuts Mason Jar Cookbook by Lonnette Parks. She seems to have many variations on the book, also including cookies recipes.

I am new to this and would like to make soups in a jar for Christmas gifts. I can not find anywhere how to make the recipe cards like what stock paper to use, how to print them from these recipes for in the jar gifts. Can anyone tell me where to go to find this kind of information? I want my gifts to look really good so I don’t want to haphazardly make the cards. Thanks in advance for all your help.

How do you make a Christmas scene in a jar? ›

Craft a set of holiday snow scenes using jars for a nontraditional take on snow globes. Sprinkle faux snow in the bottom of the jar, and add trinkets and small toys. Top with ribbons, lace, or sprigs of holly, and display on your mantel or as a Mason jar Christmas centerpiece for all to enjoy.

How do you give a recipe as a gift? ›

Transcribe your family's favorite cookie recipe onto a cookie jar, engrave grandma's oxtail soup recipe onto an easel (now you don't have to lean over and squint), or hang up the most oft-used family recipe on a sign so that it's always in sight.

How do you make mason jar ornaments? ›

Using the same technique as the wreath ornament, wrap a mason jar lid with jute twine. Then, hot glue a mini bottle brush tree and a mini plastic deer figurine onto the bottom of the lid. Finish with a bow and a jute loop hanger. And there you have it…
